Stuff to do for kids in North Hollywood on Presidents Day? (Camarillo: theater, live)

As title suggests really, meeting a friend for lunch in North Hollywood on Monday and will have my 4yr old in tow so trying to find something fun for him to do before or after

There's a really big park in North Hollywood on Magnolia. Other than that I'm not sure of what there is to do in the immediate vicinity. What kinds of things are you looking for?

To the OP, I have friends in NoHo and there's plenty to do. There's NoHo park that has a skateboard park, tennis courts, nice walking paths, etc. Walk on Magnolia eastward and go to the Arts district. There are live theaters that even have kids in the show, lots of options in this arena. Not sure if the kids will like art galleries, but there are several along Lankershim. There's Blastoff comics store, which they might enjoy. Walk further east on Chandler (east of Vineland) and walk on the path and look at the public art displays.

If you want to drop the kids off somewhere so you can explore, you can drop them off at MyGym on Camarillo/Lankershim. There's plenty more to do. Let us know what your kids enjoy and I can fill you in on more.

Don't you have to sign up for MyGym monthly in order to use it? That was my understanding. It was also my understanding that you can't just drop off your kid there. You have to be there for a class. The first class is free, though. My daughter took a class there, and we weren't wild about it. Plus, it was super expensive, per month. That was a year ago, though, so maybe things have changed?
