I'd like to add one -

...you saw a freeway being built as you were growing up.

For me, it was both the 210 and the 2.

"23. You seldom pay attention to anything below a 5.4."

24. You knew immediately what the poster meant by "a 5.4"

25. You don't own socks.

You know what a smudge pot is.
You know who Hobo Kelly is
You know what Zodys was
You know that Wrigley Field was in Los Angeles (1924) before it was in Chicago (renamed Wrigley Field in 1926)
You might have been told to "Go gargle with razor blades"
You realize the 101 went to San Diego
You'd prefer to eat at a "B" ethnic restaurant than an "A" ethnic restaurant.

You were around when Southern California only had two area codes: 213 and 714.

Now, there's 310, 626, 951, 949, 818, 562, 323, etc. OMG!!!!

I saw I-105 being built in the early 90's and was one of the first motorists to drive on it, the day it opened (October 1993). I commuted from El Segundo to South Pasadena those days.
Hard to believe it's been almost 20 years.

You heard air raid sirens on the last Friday of the month at 10AM (though this may be a practice in other cities as well).

You drank Brew 102 or you remember the Brew 102 brewery on the northeast side of downtown.

You asked for free samples at Busch Gardens in Van Nuys.
