Hi guys,

Just wanted a list of pros and cons about moving my family to burbank,ca from Atl, especially opinions about raising two elemntary kids there.

Cons would be heat and expense.

There aren't any other cons, it's a nice area.

Burbank is a nice city. It does get warm in the summer, though. But, generally very nice.

Interesting anyone would tell a guy moving from Atlanta that Burbank gets warm or hot. It's like telling a guy from North Dakota that Santa Monica is "freezing" in June due to June gloom.

Job would be at Warner bros and budget is not really an issue I am sure we are going to pay around 2500 or so for a 2b2b, just wanted to see how the area is and if its a nice place for kids. Thanks though

just be aware there's a large Armenian presence in Burbank, and I don't mean to sound racist but these are newer immigrants who tend to be more insular & clique-ish. It's probably inconsequential when you're kids are toddlers but as they grow older & get more involved in sports, after-school activities & bday parties you tend to notice it more.

Plus there are a lot of retired people there. Old retired Lockheed families.
