We are looking for 1bhk which is safe and have max. 30 minutes drive from the office. i have heard about westwood that comes to my criteria. Can anyone help me to find which area is safe for us?

Near LAX: El Segundo. Can't really do any better for a safe, family oriented town by the airport. Its almost stepping into some midwest town - tight knit, community oriented, etc.

stay west of sepulveda and you'll be fine. el segundo is next to LAX and is very safe. westchester is also mostly nice and next to LAX to the north. your budget should give you plenty of options for single bedroom apartments.

Yes, I agree El Segundo is la ovely town. And it's so close to LAX it should make for a very decent commute.

El Segundo isn't very big and it probably isn't very cheap. Nor are Mahattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, or Redondo Beach. Torrance might be more in line with your budget.
