But Del Aire has been Del Aire for many years and for years was shunned by Hawthorne's then great city services. Best wishes Del Aire, may you thrive.

It's changed a lot since then, with white flight in the '70s and '80s followed by the death of aerospace. The Wilsons' house was destroyed to build the 105.

It may surprise some that Hawthorne is cleaner and its streets in better shape than even nice neighborhoods in the city of LA.

You are mistaken - if you think I am making up the name Wiseburn than I suggest you call Los Angeles County Sheriff - South Division (Imperial Hwy) They are the ones who police us - not Hawthorne Police Dept.

Again, Wiseburn does exist. We are Los Angeles County Unincorporated. No one is stating we are better. Our school district (Wiseburn School District) is well known for being one of the best. That is just a fact.

When you drive into Wiseburn there is a sign that reads "Welcome to Wiseburn" - I will not argue with you.
