This afternoon I took a walk in the beautiful city of Santa Monica along Washington Blvd. At one point, I witnessed a stream of what I believed to be urine coming down out of a tree. It was quite a bit, and at first I thought some kids were playing a prank, though the urine was from fairly high up in the tree and there were no kids up there. There must have been at least 12 ounces of this fluid that fell down to the sidewalk in a narrow stream. What sort of animal, other than a cat, could have been high up in a tree with a bladder large enough to hold about 12 ounces?

No, I do not think it was one of those.

BTW, I meant to say I was walking on Washington Ave., not Blvd.

Although I'm also leaning towards one of those inscrutable tree-climbing midget punks, chances are good it could also be a raccoon.

I live in the area. So now in addition to people using natural fertilizers for general landscaping I've got to worry about smelling urine as well? Lovely.

I was thinking about a psquirrel. They look like regular squirrels but when they get drunk they get together and pee on whoever walks under them.

Tree hobo. They only come down to the forest floor to forage for booze.
