Interesting. Shouldn’t all metro rail stations in all communities have the same ?

—-
A future subway station in Beverly Hills could be one of the first in Metro’s rail network to include public restrooms.

It could also have dogs trained to sniff out bombs—and 24/7 security.

I think this is as high of a priority as possible,” said Councilmember Lili Bosse. “Number one: protecting our residents and quality of life; number two: having a portal or access to the north side.”

The agency would also provide for 24-hour security at the station, either through a contract with the Beverly Hills Police Department or by employing another law enforcement agency. In the latter case, Metro would need to ensure that bomb detection dogs, strict fare enforcement, and regular station cleaning are part of the arrangement.

They never had restrooms probably to keep people from loitering in the stations. Though you still get that and restrooms would be a place to get a high.

Though Im sure the bevHills station would have more luxurious amenities and high security not available to us mere mortals..

I’m guessing since it’s the city of BHPD, they have extra funds that LAPD or LASD don’t .

In the article it says that Metro would be paying for all these special things , not the city of Beverly Hills.
So it would be a double standard .
