The rooftop bar at the Shangri La is called Suite 700 or something along those lines.

There is also The Penthouse Restaurant at the Huntley.

Of course I am going to hang out with them. I just want to have my cake and eat it too by mingling with some folks my age as well. I just don't want to go to a place that's too stuffy.

The penthouse at the Huntley is definitely geared for 30 and 40year olds. Also that lounge over in the Viceroy seems to be a cougar den. And may be try the Bungalow lounge on Wilshire in SM, a good mix of professional ages, from late 20's to mid 40's, very few bro's and h0's.

Well they've decided on eating Beverly Hills. We are going to a little Italian restaurant pizzeria called Il Fico on Robertson. Looks good. Are there any bars you guys recommend nearby? I was thinking maybe The Churchill?

Thanks.

In their 40s! Wow! They'll probably need to go to bed by 8....(just kidding - but I'm older than that and the fact that you seem to think they are old makes me feel positively ancient....)
