I mean the Pacific Pride station in the top photo here, NOT the Thrifty station: Thrifty Photos

It appears this Pacific Pride was once a Shell, perhaps in the 60s, but it looks like a Pacific Pride from at least the 70s. FYI, Pacific Pride is a commercial fueling business, so only businesses with accounts can get gas (usually diesel) at their stations, and usually humans are not present at their stations except for the customers! The pumps are locked and can only be activated by a credit card.

Looks like you answered your own (strange) question.

I'm not sure what the question is either. Are you asking why there aren't more people filling up at it? Probably has something to do with the time of day.

Maybe no one is there because of the outragous prices. I mean 1.43 for unleaded, who would pay such a high price.

I'm not sure..but I live close to here and there was another Thrifty gas that closed a while back..sometime last year I believe and has just been closed up ...keeps on getting graffiti on it.

I don't think it had a convenience store..but I could be wrong. I've read that most gas station only survive because of the convenience store. It did have an auto shop though but that probably didn't bring in much money. The place was always run down looking. Also there is an Arco like a block away, probably didn't help them.

Another example of something that wouldn't happen in one of them high class areas ,
