Do you notice a lot of flags flying outside peoples homes compared to the rest of the country? been awhile since i been to L.A but it seems like there were more people flying flags compared to MN.
plus there is a stereotype that Californians arent that patriotic and don't like America but i think thats just crap made up by southern conservatives who don't know what they are talking about.
K so maybe I was somewhere like Huntington Beach where I noticed this.

You see American flags outside, more in the outlying areas like South Bay, East Long Beach, and South SFV. But they are not really common in Central and West LA. Remember, almost half of the population of LA are recent international migrants. In some parts of Central and East LA, you are more likely to see Mexican flags flown outside of the house.

People used to immigrate to Amer7ca because they believed in America, they wanted to contribute and make America stronger, but now they just want to come to America to earn dollars

I don't remember the 9-11 flag aftermath well enough, but my impression is that working-class white neighborhoods with free-standing houses are the most likely to fly flags. Some parts of Culver City and Palms, for example, probably meet that criteria.
