My best day in La was the day i left hold on..don’t go wild.. Only to take up residence in Florida. Still have the house still here and still spend a crazy amount of time here but I have understood that to have a life in the USA you need several locations..
Yes I have some money but not Beverly Park Money..You need Sea,Snow, Desert and city and they don't always go together..

That's what I was thinking. I can get snow within 1.5 hours, city of L.A. in about an hour or an hour and a quarter depending upon traffic, Pasadena in 20-40 minutes, the ocean in 1.5 hours, any random lake, pool or beach within 10 minutes and outward from that, gigantic parks within 10 minutes on outward, the desert within 45 minutes to an hour, and the suburbs with stellar schools right here.

p.s. This is only my feeling and opinion: I really, really don't like Florida. At all. I am glad you're happy though. Live well and have fun!

or you can rent me your place and you can move to Hawaii we have all climates here we have 8 of 13 in the world climate zones. You maybe could rent the place im living in now Kailua Kona Hawaii.... And we Practically have no natural disasters, tsunamis are nothing to worry about as long as you dont live on the shore line and not to mention living on an island whit a volcano that has constantly been erupting since 1983...

I like this idea too . The ability to live in multiple places or have multiple homes .

I'm also considering a move out of la to Florida . I could see the advantages for sure .

The particular area I am thinking of seems a lot more livable . Cleaner , better services , much better amenities than the particular part of la I can afford now. It also feels more laid back in ways than la , that carribean style vibe . People in shorts year round , etc.

Are you retired ? Owner your own biz ?

Do you rent out the homes when you aren't there ?

Severedtieshawaii , Kona is also a very nice place . Why do you want to leave ?

My wife and i are young and lived here our whole lives, its slow and not much to do here, so we want to get in the fast pace and be able to travel to other states much easier to see whats out there and we can always come back to hawaii if we dont like it.

If I had a dime for everytime you talked about moving to Florida, I'd be a rich man!
