So I am an international student who is applying to four community colleges in Los Angeles which are
1)Los Angeles City College
2)Los Angeles Southwest College
3)Los Angeles Trade and Technical College
4)West Los Angeles College

I want to know if these colleges are close enough to apartments so that I wouldn't have to walk a lot, how they are rent wise, crime wise, and any other things that you could come up with. If you know of other community colleges which have business for the associate degree in LA then please let me know.

I've been asking other people who've been there but they just give me a one line answer and I get confused Thank you I'll be going for the spring semester.

I would strongly consider Santa Monica Community College its way closer to the beach and you get a little more of that California lifestyle.

^^ Depends how much the OP can afford. LACC is probably the best bet, though.

You can also ask your question in here perhaps from student point of view.

LA southwest is not close to much in the way of amenities and the nearby apartments are not anything you would want to live in. Nice school though.

Same goes for LA Trade Tech.

West LA College is in the nicest area. It's safe and nearby apartments are relatively affordable.

Ah that's cleared up things. I don't want to study in a place like LA southwest or LA Trade Tech then because I'm a person who likes to be in an area with amenities and a more noisy environment. I'm just used to it. I'll do some more research on West LA. How much is the rent on average in West LA? And do you have any idea about how much it is in the area where LACC is? Thank you
