Hi everyone,
My husband has an offer to work at a company in Santa Monica. We currently live in San Diego. I am concerned about where to live and send my son to school (2nd grade). My husband will be working 11-7 to avoid traffic (if possible). I don't know yet where I will be working, so we are just worrying about his commute time. Our rent budget is up to $3000/month although I would like to buy ASAP if we land in the right area (we own our home now in SD and I am not a fan of renting, especially with 3 dogs). Does anyone have any suggestions of areas? I was looking on the westside and in the Valley, and as far south as Torrance and anywhere in between - anywhere to avoid?

Thanks in advance for your help

What price are you looking to spend on a house?
