I know the one in Huntington Beach at Old World is fun. You can't beat those wiener dog races. I know there's one in Torrance as well, but I've never been. What are your experiences with Oktoberfest in LA?

Torrance is better than HB easily. Big Bear has a good one and the Pheonix Club in Anaheim is also fun.

Phoenix Club in Anaheim is pretty fun. On the weekends they usually do a pig or ox on the spit.

I went to the Alpine Village last year, was o.k., pretty crowded, some territorial people who didn't want you sitting next to them because they thought they were in a VIP section and could tell you where not to sit.

Blah... won't be going this year.

Does anyone know of an Oktoberfest that has unlimited beer? I've been to many beer festivals in L.A that do this , but haven't seen it with Oktoberfest.

Alpine Village in Torrance is better than HB. Big Bear is the best.

Not in LA, but The Phoenix Club, the German American League of OC, has the best.
