There isn't much weather to report in Los Angeles so it makes sense to make it visual appealing.

In the same vein, Kalyna Astrinos does the afternoon traffic reports for ABC7, when the target audience is already home.

I noticed that too. But it should be a light-hearted job, no? It's the weather, it should make people happy. Nothing too austere. I'm a female and it doesn't bother me, although I would not want that sort of job to begin with.

BTW, are there any female weather forecasters on television in L.A. who do not have big boobs?

Um, I think there have been some secondary female weather forecasters like that. A few years ago, there was a young woman with dirty blonde hair and kind of a tall, lithe body and an unsexy voice on one of the channels.

Back to the original question, that was one of the first things I noticed when I moved to LA. That's also why I consider Jackie Johnson a joke and don't watch whatever news outlet she's on. She can't be young anymore and needs to learn to dress in a way that downplays her huge boobs.

Not that the LA weather men are free of problems.

Yep, the local news is 100% nonsense.

I am a native but I did live on the east cost for a few years. I did notice the difference.

In the outerboroughs, it seems that the men can't handle the same kind of skin showing like they can in LA.

LA women do not dress skanky.
By NYC standards they do.

There are some females that dress in hoochie wear to the club, but I've also seen this in Manhattan.
They wear the same hoochie crap in the street to go nowhere.

Manhattan, below 96th street is somewhat "safe" to dress slutty if you want to, because the men who live in those areas are afraid to speak to women.

They're not afraid to talk or touch in Bronx, BK or Queens. I would include Staten Island, but I honestly know nothing about that place, except that most of the cast of MOB WIVES is filmed there.

She gave up broadcasting for a much more simple life.
She moved to a small town in Alaska (population 25 I think) that's 25, not a typo.
She operates a small store.
Bob.
