Downtown Beverly Hills. The highest prices and a lot of crackheads. The problem is that we have too much tolerance or prefer do not see something untill it will become our own personal problem.

A couple of new development projects, one ground up and the other adaptive re-use:

The Luxe Hotel across Figueroa from LA Live will be torn down and replaced with two 30-story towers which will include a 250 room hotel, 650 condos and 80,000 square feet of retail. This has a long way to go before it breaks ground but with Fig Central and Metropolis already under construction, the area around LA Live will look a lot different in a few years.

Actually, now it seems like they're validating our city. Evidently, that is supposed to be very important.
