What projects/developments would you like to see happen or be propose in 2014?

For me, it's pretty simple. More rail lines and more green space, especially concerning the LA River and park caps. I'd also love to see Farmers Field become a reality finally.

Anything else is an added bonus.

What's in your LA wishlist?

I'd like to see a world-class super-tall project announced, something in the 110 story/1500 ft range.

Flat out bulldoze the eastern half of DTLA since it's all Skid Row, under-utilized small buildings, and industrial warehouses. I don't care about morals here, I want eastern-DTLA to become a place people actually want to be in!

I would like to see Los Angeles continue to revitalize downtown. Right now, parts of DTLA are simply a ghost town after 8pm. More high density housing downtown. I'm talking 2/2, even 3/2 type condos right in the city center. Get people to live and enjoy the center of the city.

YEAH...**** Morals! /s

But really... I see them building around Skid Row more so than getting rid of it.

Also....For the interest in this thread:

I would like to see LA Central start building finally
Expo line to the beach to have no hiccups in 2014
The Grand Ave project break ground
And Finally I would like to see The Broad Open

In that case, how do you feel about grinding the homeless into dogfood?
