I have a visitor to my house that likes to go under my house. I set up some flour to get some tracks to figure out what it is and whether it's in/out etc. I've attached a picture with 2 sets of tracks. Can anyone help identify?

I've circled the two best ones but you may see portions of others in the picture.

those tracks clearly from two different animals, though it's hard to gauge the type of animal as there is no banana for scale.

The bigger tracks are about 2" across or so the smaller are about half the size.

The smaller ones look like possum. (Possum tracks are wide, with there "thumb" almost being 90 degrees). The larger? Cat? Are you on the edge of a wildland? Dog tracks would probably have the claw prints.

I agree the strange shaped ones are from one or more opossums.

The larger more normal ones may be a racoon ... or even a small bear.

i'm going with opossum on the small tracks as well.

the larger print is definitely not a raccoon, they leave long skinny prints, i get them in my yard frequently. since it's two inches it could be a dog, large cat (i'm thinking bobcat) or a coyote. can you setup a web cam in the area?

I found a video cam on amazon that I might buy that will send me a text when it detects movement. I'm going to go under my house and look today to see if I can find anything. I'm a bit scared of what I might find and am kind of prepared to be sprayed by a skunk.

And for those wondering, I don't live in an area near wildness. I'm in Alhambra. I'm thinkg Possum and dog but there's definitely been a skunk under my house recently too. He sprayed and left my whole house smelling.

Wouldn't put it past you.

I live in South Central L.A. and spotted quite a number of possums in my neighborhood (and the occasional raccoon).
