Hello. I am looking for a safe neighborhood for a 26/F somewhere in between Glendale and Long Beach. I work in Glendale so closer to Glendale than Long Beach would be best. I'm willing to spend up to $1350 if I need to for a 1 BR or a nice studio.

All I can think of is Downtown, but the nicer buildings there are very expensive and the surrounding areas don't seem to be the greatest. Are there any better options? Thanks!

My suggestions: South Pasadena, North Glendale, Silverlake (LA City), and La Crescenta.

All good suggestions. I would add Montrose, a beautiful area where you could get a nice one bedroom for less than you're willing to pay.

Forget Long Beach, way too far. Make your life easy and have an easy commute.

South Pasadena, North Glendale in my opinion.

Alhambra or Monterey Park. Just go down the 710 to Long Beach.

Long Beach is somewhat far from Glendale, why did you pick out Long Beach is your "go between"?
