Hi, I was wondering if there are any nice, classy 18+ clubs in Los Angeles or the Los Angeles area? Any recommendations? I've gone to a few 18+ clubs but they all seemed ghetto with low-class clientele. Or are there any nice 21+ clubs that have 18+ nights? That would work as well. Thanks! I'm not trying to sound pretentious and I realize I might come off that way, but the clubs I've gone to just seemed ghetto and the clientele was nothing to brag about. I don't know what other way to describe this, so I hope I don't offend anyone.

Not really. Classy cost money and it's hard for clubs to make money if they can't sell overpriced drinks to its clientele.

A lot of the places with live bands will have nights that are 18+ depending on the band and the night. Places like the Palladium or the El Rey are a sort of a faded classy, but, of course, the crowd depends on the night.

And a lot of the museums like the Getty, MOCA or Natural History Museum will have Friday or Saturday night events during the summer that are usually 18+.

One of the ones in WeHo has 18+ night? Tiger Heat? Rage? Something like that. That's the only one I know of.

'clubbing' is a fairly ghetto activity overall. I've seen some shameless things in my time.

It only gets wilder when you turn 21.

As a way of distancing oneself from the scene, lots of online personal ads from mid-20 somethings on up will state
"I'm so OVER the club scene!" - whether or not that's true.

Tigerheat is at the Avalon in Hollywood on Thursday nights and is 18+. Predominately gay but all kinds of people go.

Probably the biggest 18+ night in southern california.

I wouldn't exactly call Tigerheat classy, it can be fun though if you're wasted enough. The music is off a 7th graders iPod.

Nothing classy about anything 18+.

They play top 40 hits... so I guess the music off a 7th graders ipod is what most people like.

Pop* RADIO Top 40 Hits.

I wonder if they know there's a Top Club 100 list.

There was a place at Hollywood/Highland that went by a ton of different names. I think it was called "I.S." back in my day.

That place was so stereotypically "spoiled upper middle-class kids from the Valley" that it was sickening.

OP, you might like it.
