IS L.A THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE THEN TO GET INTO ACTING - WHAT ABOUT NY?

Im moving over from ireland soon to follow my dream and im wondering is it best to start in ny or la?

Also I dont have a car and i sing professionally

You'll get better information on a message board dedicated to the business of acting. Two that come to mind are Actors Access and Backstage.
