I wonder why no increase to bus service. They cut it during the recession afaik.

I support most of the projects here but think the orange line should be extended to pasadena, with a branch down Brand or whatever right of way they were going to use instead of creating two short lines as planned. having to transfer twice to get from the valley to old town (3 times if you wanted to continue east from there) would decimate ridership.

and it's really lame how the purple line isn't extended beyond its useless planned terminus and the red line isn't extended down vermont to at least the expo

So I'm confused...would a Measure R2 also go towards accelerating the existing projects? Or would it only go towards new projects? Honestly, the Westside subway is still the most important project. It would be really crappy if R2 passed but we used the funds to just add new projects instead of using it to also accelerate the current 20 year build time for the Purple Line extension.

I'm thinking that is a direct connection of the Orange Line to Old Town. The round dot indicates a transfer point, not a terminus. If not, I agree that would be poor planning to require a bunch of transfers to get from the central SFV to Pasadena.

I agree with DD, it would be disappointing for R2 to not include an acceleration component. I'd still vote for it if it didn't though. I personally think the Crenshaw line to Hollywood is nearly as important as the Purple Line extension. LA has really weak N/S connections for some reason, even bus-wise.

And I'd love to see N/S heavy rail to help address this.
