Two years? Since when do you get two years if you're involved in a murder?
He held the victim while the other guy stabbed her. I can only hope the real stabber gets at least 15.

This reminds me of a case in Texas that also involved a fatal stabbing--one of the perpetrators who initiated but did not finish the stabbing (therefore in his eyes, did not technically "kill" the victim) was pleading against death row. The man who held the victim in Hollywood definitely deserves a heck of a lot more than 2 years--absolutely ridiculous.

I worked in the Public Defenders office for a couple years in Dallas. Crimes against children, women, and anything drug related usually carry the stiffest penalties.

Less than 24 if he gets paroled early for good behavior/overcrowding.

EDIT: Not surprising, he's white.

Those people are f***** mongrols. I was pretty familiar with them when I lived off of the boulevard. I usually have a very open mind and heart for the homeless, but these guys and their clan are the epitome of human garbage. Maybe humanity will luck out and this a hole gets shanked in prison.

Sure what they did was beyond comprehension and they should received more prison time, however, the only problem I have with this stigma is that how can a person really tell if a person is actually homeless or not? Just because a person dresses and panhandles doesn't necessarily make a person homeless. On the flip side, I know a few homeless people that are well-kept as people with a roof over their heads.

And contrary to what the propaganda news channels would tell you about the homeless, the fact of the matter is that not all homeless people behave like animals.

Since you were familiar with them , I'm sure many others had bad experiences with them .

I don't know why the police and city don't view people like this as an accident ..or murder waiting to happen ?

If we want this city to be world class , then we have to stop allowing parts of it looking like 3rd world slums .

Enough is enough
