What are some sites I can look at to find a private room in a multi-bedroom apt? So far I just know of craigslist and UCLA CHO (UCLA student), but I want to expand my horizons. Does westsiderentals.com have those kinds of listings too? With the student loans I get I could save a lot of money doing this instead of being in the studio that I am in now

West Side Rentals has a roommate/shared house option but it does cost $60 for 60 days.

Roommates.com. If you are a female, don't get discouraged with the site. Some men mistaken it for a dating site and will DM you for a date, but good roommates can be found there, too.

EasyRoommate.com. Never used it, but it looks like it has a decent amount of listings.

Zillow.com and similar realtor sites also have rental listings.

HotPads.com mixes in rentals with rooms for rent, but I believe you can filter the search to just rooms.

Online newspapers also typically have rental listings, including rooms.

On a side note, I love that you are taking this approach to pay down debt. Good for you.
