Los Angeles is probably tired to hear from people like us... the unrealistic optimistic, entertainment based type: the dreamers.

I will be moving to LA to pursue the entertainment industry. "No," not in acting, but behind the camera. I am 22 and Male looking for other like minded individuals. I enjoy video games, writing, going to the clubs, board games, exploring, anime (I'm a nerd), and anything new. I'm one of those type of guys that loves to try different things. Let alone movie making.

I will be new to the area and with relocation, the hardest part about adapting is making new friends. In layman's terms, I will probably be lonely. I have another friend or two joining me, family in the area - but I would love to get to know some like minded individuals.

Anyways, I want more people who would love to chill, hang out, people that wouldn't mind getting smashed at Super smashed, or checking out the parade.

If you're in the same boat and you're going to LA for acting, or some camera job, hit me up on Skype. I would love to chat. I could even edit and create your reel for you.

Send me a direct message (Private message) for my skype. Don't be shy. If we hate each other, we can just ignore one another.

In your other thread you say you have a job lined up so you WILL meet like minded people, and you are moving with friends so you shouldn't be lonely. If you are a social person you won't have any trouble.

Yeah, I am a social person and I don't believe I'll have a problem, but I've been taught to always come to things prepared. The more connections you have, the more people you know, the happier you'll be. I'm one of those guys use to being around groups and I just ain't happy if I don't have more than 2 friends around me.

Also.... that other post was never suppose to be posted, lul. FAIL on my part.

I like your cavalier and casual attitude, I wish you well, friends are everywhere you want them to be.

Thanks for the responses. I'll be sure to keep my eyes open. The positive feedback is enlightening.

Here's a follow up question(s).

A family member of mine in LA owns a funeral home and promised me a job there till I get on my feet.

I have 4k, a car, and a major in History/Political Science (I know these degrees wont get me much down there).

-------

Will the above give me enough to make it in LA?

Is getting a job in LA hard?

Should I expect only Minimum Wage Jobs?

los angeles rooms & shares classifieds - craigslist

I notice in Craigslist, the rooms go between 450-700. Does this sound about right? (I can only hope those aren't scams).
