3. 3 properties in Torrance ( Walteria, Marble Estates, and Southwood neighborhood).

Please tell me your thoughts, opinions, and/or experience with the above mentioned areas.

Thanks in advance!
All of those are good areas. #1 and #2 have decent schools. Of the Torrance properties, Walteria and Southwood will have really great schools. Marble Estates is in Southeast Torrance so make sure it's not in an LAUSD area - parts of eastern Torrance are in LAUSD not Torrance Unified.

Thank you for the feedback. The lease amount ranges from $2900-3300 and I prefer a year lease.

If you're working at the VA go for Culver City over Torrance. It's much closer. Especially the Washington/Sepulveda location.

I will be working the night shift (730p-8am). I hope the commute won't be too bad. I seen a rental property at 18334 Glenburn in Torrance zip is 90504. Is this area fairly safe?

Thanks

I can either get an apt in Culver City or house in Torrance.

That area of Torrance is no where near the three area's you mentioned in your post.

Unless you are going to buy and settle into Torrance in the future, the drive from Culver City just makes more sense. I'm guessing the $2900 house is the Torrance, place versus the $3300 apartment in Culver City.
