Due to the Rangers losing the Stanley Cup, Bill de Blasio had to sing "I love LA" on Jimmy Kimmel. de Blasio took it upon himself to send over hot dogs from New York's famous Gray's Papaya, before then dissing Dodger Dogs. Garcetti refused and, seemingly out of nowhere, got a hot dog from Pink's from his side. I thought it was all pretty funny, though Garcetti's last comment made me a little uncomfortable. I know it was just a joke, but still. It probably shouldn't have made me uncomfortable, given the fact that a lot of New Yorkers talk so much s**t about Los Angeles.

Way to stay classy, Garcetti.

Pinks? Garcetti would have been better off just grabbing a hot dog from one of those vendors out in front of the El Capitan. I guess when you are mayor you don't have to wait in that ridiculous line...

It was rude of Garcetti, especially since the kids had just sung for him and were still there (video feed). Speaking of the kids, as Mayor of LA, he certainly didn't leave them with a good impression.

Maybe Ms. Manners needs to make a house call.

Those kids singing with the NYC mayor were really cute. Garcetti is not a good joker. He was trying to be funny but it just didn't work well. He did praise de Blaiso at the very end as a good guy and mayor so I don't think it was terrible.

Does Garcetti ever leave a good impression?

I've never understood New Yorkers fascination with Gray's Papaya. Their dogs literally taste like plastic.

Nathans over Grays but Pinks over all of them! <3
