They seem to offer nice apartments in my price range of $1300 with more square footage. Just want to know if these areas are way to far from LA? I see the distance on Google maps about 30 miles or more but I would like to get someone who actually know the areas to tell me which may be best. I would like to be in the city but its pricey so I'm fine with being on the outskirts.....just not too far.
I agree with some other posters here, two are far from L.A in that you can't regularly travel there everyday, while the others are close. You can also check places in L.A itself, do not limit yourself. Also areas like Culver City, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, North Hollywood you can find what you are looking for. Again broaden your search and see what you can find.

Have you tried other nearby cities besides the ones you mentioned?

Good luck on your search and subsequent moves.

It is "Colombia", NOT "Columbia".

I'm far away from that mess that goes on in Baltimore. i would like the same moving over to LA.
Take a look at Pasadena. It is a nice area, not far from Los Angeles. Rents may be a bit higher but well worth it.
