Hi, where can I find a neighbor with detached garages homes in Pasadena or South Pasadena? I've seen several of those in Orange, close to downtown and I really like that style, but I'm more interested in the Pasadena area because it has a nice mid size downtown and looks like a more lively city.
Thanks.

They exist but you will pay an arm and a leg.

Here's the cheapest one in South Pasadena: 386 South Meridith Ave, Pasadena, CA 91106 | MLS# 214012063 | Redfin

Thanks, but that house is way too fancy for me, I was thinking of something like this one:

Have you ever considered the city of Ventura? Very like Pasadena, historic, walkable, cute downtown, a mission, and there are a jillion houses with the garage out back on an alley. Plus, it's on the ocean.

Ventura is great and all, but if you're working in LA (where all the jobs are in SoCal anyways), its a nightmare of a commute.

Ah--so you're talking more like the kind of house Michael Myers like to creep around in, then. I'm with you there.
