I will be moving to South Bay in February.Torrance/Redondo Beach area most likely. I am a 25yr old single male who is fashion concsious. I have been to southern california before and am aware wearing the wrong colors/baseball cap can get you into some trouble.
I would like to know are there anything specific styles/baseball caps I should stay away from? I dont' want to look like a gangbanger.
At the same time I would like to know any local styles for men around my age?
I typically wear name brand clothing bought at malls: Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, GAP, American Eagle, DC, Emerica, Vans, etc... I like to wear hoodies, t-shirts and slim jeans with a pair of sweet Classic Vans. I am typically a t-shirt and jeans kinda guy.
Any advice I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Love the south bay. I have a sister and a brother who live in Redondo. Love Hermosa with its active but mellow night life. More problems with colors in Venice, Dockweiler where more bangers hang. Casual surf / beach wear are always being worn. Remember, the beach is typically laid back and that includes fashion. After all, a collar and closed toed shoes are considered near formal.
