There is a bar right next to the novel cafe on Wilshire. It's called the harp.

No, there aren't. There also aren't very many good choices for rowdy biker bars in WeHo but I don't see any Hell's Angels complaining about it. Not everything is going to work out exactly how you want it to.

No it's not. You want a plethora of Irish pubs in Koreatown. Koreatown isn't even very big. Why do you think it should have every single thing you want? You're in one of the largest, most ridiculously amenity-filled cities in the world but you're whining over not being to walk around the corner to an Irish pub. Get over it.

What about the bar on the same block of Wilshire Blvd as the Wiltern? Can't remember the name of it, maybe it was mentioned above. Seems like a more or less "regular" bar....located east of the Wiltern Theater on same side of street.

Cafe Bleu by the Zion center is what you're looking for, although a bit pricey.

But in general I kinda agree with the "when in Rome" comments. Or just hop on the train and ride downtown.

Weird comment. I never mentioned anything about Irish pubs. I was lamenting the fact that K-Town doesn't have any good bars.
