Not way too high, LA is about 10% black. Real percentages would be way too hectic so I did halves, quarters, eighths, sixteenths like parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc.

I was doing it in terms of straight ethnic numbers, more like an approximation cuz I'm not trying to deal with 3.2%, 2.9% all that. Jews maybe, I heard they had a lot of influence in the entertainment industry, but it's not so noticeable of a presence to me in LA. Koreans I see their churches in the most random areas, I saw one in Highland Park, then there's that huge one in South Central, and they got Koreatown and they're getting influence. This seems more recent to me though, not that long ago they were more like just those people that run the liquor stores. Filipinos have numbers, slightly more than Korean, and I saw more of that growing up, there were plenty of Filipinos in my area. Central Americans started MS-13, I call one of the most infamous gangs in a land of infamous gangs influence.

Having lived in LA for over half a century, I have to say that Jews live all over the place. Starting from elementary school, to college+ and work, I've never not had Jewish friends/teachers/co-workers while in the South Bay, Orange County, Long Beach, San Gabriel Valley, etc. Most were secular or at least didn't observe the Sabbath or kosher laws; some did.

I agree with others that the Westside and parts of the Valley have enclaves that are more convenient for Orthodox or Persian Jews but I didn't want anyone to get the impression that Jews are restricted to those areas. They are smoothly integrated into most parts of the LA metro.

As if Eric Garcetti isn't LA-melting pot enough, his former colleague on the LA City Council and mayoral opponent, Jan Perry, is black and Jewish.
