My family is moving from New Jersey to Los Angeles area this year. We are thinking about Belmont Shores area of Long Beach. What are the best daycares for toddler and infants in the Long Beach area?

The best daycare in many cases would be the grandparents. You can't trust anyone more than them to actually take care of your children.

No Grandparents available. Again, does anyone have any experience with daycares in Long Beach?

My son is in a wonderful Christian preschool, but it's in Westminster (about 15-20 minutes south of Belmont Shore). This preschool takes kids at 2 years and does not require them to be potty-trained. I know this isn't really an option, but I totally love the education, attention and care he has gotten. He entered when he was 2 and two years later, he can add and subtract, knows his alphabet, numbers, letter sounds, and is memorizing Bible verses to prepare for kindergarten. They're introducing phonics so hopefully, the kids will be reading before the fall. They cater to the child's needs, whether special needs or advanced learner.

There are many daycares in LB, though. I would find some on Yelp, read reviews and check them out. Wish I knew of some to recommend.
