What insurance do you have, how much do you pay annually for one car, and what zip code do you live in? Is this car insurance calculator near or around the range of what you pay?

I'm considering changing up my insurance, all of my friends seemingly have cheaper insurance. Browsing the Automotive forum wasn't helpful, too many people from podunk cities posting rates heavily effected by location. I know there are a lot of other factors that affect your rate: age, accidents, car make and models, location, etc. Those aren't too much of a concern; I'm looking for more generalized rates, curious what other people are paying locally. Currently I have AAA and pay 1900 annually for 50/100/50. My rates just went up with no infractions in the past year, so I'm wondering if AAA is blowing smoke up my hole.

Try GEICO online quote to see and most probably will be 10-30% lower.

Have you looked into Wawanesa? I have 2 cars with decent full coverage from them (newer cars) for $1400/year. I'm in a zip with typically higher rates too.

I just submitted an online quote for them, thanks. Annoyingly they're one of those companies that has to "calculate your quote and email/call spam you" about it instead of giving an estimation. Kind of annoying, but if it saves me money...

They are actually really good about that (or were with me at least). I got a quote in my email within a few hours and no other calls/emails.
