Even though I don't live in LA anymore I'm curious if anyone knows what movie theater chain is going into the former westfield topanga sears?

I found out from the Westfield customer service booth at Westfield topanga village that for sure an Archlight movie theater is going into where Sears was.

That makes plenty of sense and is not a surprise.

The Maggiano's manager told me that they will be moving either into or adjacent to the new theater complex at Topanga Mall in about a year or so. Not sure if it will be an Arclight or AMC since the AMC will be closed when they tear down the Promenade. Also not sure about Ruth Chris.

Just enjoyed a Ruth's Classics meal at Ruth's Chris. The guy who brought me bread stated that the mall would be demolished so they would have a place to build the new Chargers' stadium.

That's why he's fetching bread, he's an idiot. Westfield is not in the stadium business.

Out of curiosity i called the leasing people at westfield corporate amd they told me that they are working put a deal with maggionos in the old sears building. They also told me that they are working out a deal with williams sonoma inc to have a pottery barn/williams sonoma/west elm combo store in the old sears store in addition to maybe an amazon books. Westfield corporate at leasing said a movie theater will be there for sure.

Westfield did release their vision for the Promemade and it does include a 15,000 stadium.
WESTFIELD PROMENADE 2035

I believe that is intended as a concert venue, no? I don't see a 15,000 seat stadium accomodating an NFL team.
