Hi Guys!

We are relocating to LA and very confused about which neighborhood to choose after reading lots of posts. We are planning to rent a house below $1800 price which might be hard and happy if I get 2bedroom house for that rate! My office is in LA downtown and knowing the price there I preferred to move out to nearby neighborhood. A travel of 30mins through train is ok for me. And my preference is for good rental apartments/houses in good family neighborhood and daycares nearby as I have a kid who is 2yrs old now!
And also please guide me which resource to follow or should we go to broker?

Thanks in advance !

Where are you moving from? You realize most people in LA have a car?

Your housing budget is a low for LA rental prices.

Areas near light rail/subway stops for you to consider: Studio City, North Hollywood, Culver City and Pasadena. Also, not directly on a rail line but worth considering are: Burbank and Glendale.
