I know everyone on the West coast is huge fans of In-N-Out, but I personally think it doesn't taste that good and is overhyped. Shake Shack is where it's at. Definitely good news for New Yorkers moving to/living in LA.
Nothing tops In and Out. If I want a gourmet burger then I make it myself but for your mainstream burger nothing beats In and Out.

The Shake Shack stock has done well for it's owner ...looks like his net worth went up $450million from the stock

Danny Meyer Owns Over $450 Million of Shake Shack Stock - Eater

It's interesting as I just looked him up and then I remember that I saw a documentary about his an his restaraunts that came out in 2010.

The Restaurateur

It's a pretty interesting movie. Smart business man .

The company is worth $2.2billion on the stock market ..so they have quite a bit of money to expand wherever they want now.

Most of the time I had In-N-Out, I could hardly finish it. Not because I was full, but I just didn't like the taste of it very much. Just the other day I had 3 doubles at Shake Shack plus other things. In-N-Out is cheap, though. A double at Shack is $7.99

Yeah he owns some expensive restaurants in NYC. He definitely knows how to run a business. Shake Shack is pretty much the same company as when it started back in the 2000's.

I haven't been this excited since Dunkin Donuts made the move to Southern California. Seriously, nothing gets the juices flowing like overrated food from the East Coast.

Seriously? Couldn't finish it because it was so bad? Please, even McDonalds burgers are edible.

Something tells me you had your mind made up before you even took a bite.

I can't wait until they bless us with their version of Mexican food.

Of course he has his mind made up before he even stepped foot in the restaurant. Maybe he doesn't like real cheese and 100% real beef patties. In-n-Out's greatness is in its simplicity, fresh ingredients and low price point.

Then why would you buy it more than once?

Shake Shack tastes so much better and richer than In-N-Out.

Sure, it's more expensive but who cares. I have L.A. friends living in NYC who are always moaning on about In-N-Out and wanting it to move there. I will never understand why when they have Shake Shack. That's the first thing I eat whenever I travel to NYC!
