Hey guys. Just going to jump right into this. I've been trying to sell a washer and dryer combo now for more than a month and now I'm starting to get a little anxious. All of the people that have come by to check it out have not been able to purchase the set because the dryer uses a 220V plug for a dedicated ~240V service. Is it common in California for appliances like washers and dryers to use the standard 120V outlets? In Texas, it was common to have at least one heavy duty outlet that fed 240V for heavy duty appliances in the laundry room, so it was never a problem.

Newer homes have 220V drier plugs, yes, because they are more economical to use, but a lot of apartments that have washer and drier connections, as well as older homes, expect the smaller units that are only 110V.

You should update your listing to show it is a 220V drier so you don't waste their time or yours.
