Seattle has been experiencing heatwaves, with temperatures daily into the 90's, & most homes do not have a/c. The entire PNW is in a drought. Thank you, global warming!

Well, I'm late to the thread but wife and I have considered the same move in the future (she is a life long LA resident, I've only been here for 10 years). But from my research it seems like Seattle is becoming LA North due to many people relocating there. When I visited the Seattle forum, a lot of people told me not to come haha. Apparently housing and rental costs are rising exponentially right now and so is traffic.

Don't be afraid to move here to Seattle. On the city forum locals just want to scare away California transplants.
