Yeah those are two of the top things that I missed when I spent some time working out of state last year..I was kind of 'bicoastal' for a little...but you can tell the lack of variety and i'm sure there are other places that are really lacking in variety diversity.

Also for people that think L.A is a big suburb...they probably haven't been to real suburbs areas where you can drive and drive and it's just tracts of single family homes that look the same and the big box type of retail stores.

Haven't left yet, but I will miss the legal weed, weather, cool people, and Abalone Cove.

Also, the skyscrapers. Hate that I won't be here to see The Wilshire Grand when it's finished.

I don't think I'll like it as much as the US Bank Tower, though.
