Getting in and out of Westwood would be a nightmare during rush hour (it's tough during regular times). The closer you are to Sepulveda the better. Think Barrington to the west and north of Wilshire.

It's slightly worse coming from the west, going east. Especially the nightmare that is sunset blvd from bundy to the 405 on weekday afternoons.

Santa Monica is the better choice, because the city of SM actually does stuff for its taxpayers.

That area is bad too, because everybody knows about the Ohio "shortcut" which is often backed all the way up to Uni.

Yeah but the city of SM is way more expensive to rent in than Brentwood.

Lol , people still consider Ohio to be a shortcut? last time it was a true shortcut was the Clinton administration.

Too bad they shut down the VA as a throughfare at the north end. At least we still have that Sawtelle exit if you're trying to go to West LA.

More like the Reagan administration. Now it's just best to not try to cross under the 405 between 2PM and 8PM on a weekday.

And 7:30 AM to 10 AM

They shouldn't have added those damn stop signs at Colby and Butler. Now people "cut" which just adds more congestion.

Exactly. I really hate that. I'm glad I don't use Ohio often these days, because when I do, I get disgusted at all the people who make their left turn onto Ohio after they've been cutting through those once rarely used side streets. Thanks, City of L.A., for creating a problem instead of fixing one.
