Oh goodness, now truth = troll according to that logic. I will not apologize for being knowledgeable or truthful.

And I agreed on the Asian food, and Mexican. But that's it, and that's not large enough variety.

While I agree with you about the pizza (haven't found a really good place yet), I have found some delicious food here, food you wouldn't necessarily find in Chicago. I wish I could get a real Italian beef sandwich instead of French dip, but I've found some wonderful steakhouses, Italian restaurants and excellent Indian food. Its a trade-off. That's the danger in comparing one place to another rather than enjoying the things that Los Angeles, Chicago or New York does have to offer. I too miss Chicago food, the change of seasons (but not the bitterly cold winters and summer humidity), the architecture and the lake front. I've come to really enjoy the weather in California, the beautiful scenery, the vastness of this state, the various cultures and so many other things.

This is crazy. No, LA has amazing places to eat that are not like "Steak and Shake" from other states.

I agree on the bbq thing (I don't eat it anymore anyway) for LA though. Go to San Diego for that. Try Phil's BBQ, enough said.

I think it's a well established fact that anything not Iowa, is not something Mr. 909er is going to like.

Iowa is obviously paradise to him, yet he's jobless and continues to live in the 909.

My question is why does he care what type of restaurants LA has when he doesn't even live in LA? I think I'm going to ask his question in the I.E. forum.

Regional chains aren't usually located outside the region. That's why you don't see In-N-Out in most places either.

Of course this is a joke thread when you score the food scene based on fast food chains but if that's what you eat then that's what you eat. LA is not for you when it comes to food OP. NOT FOR YOU.

I doubt he's really gone to every place too.
Come on.
I like checking out places and live in L.A but there are a ton of places I haven't been to
909er have you been to all these places?
Best Pizza in Los Angeles, CA
for pizza?

The response will probably be , "I don't need to go to them ...they are in L.A so they suck".

Same with everything else right?

I've actually had a sort of taco pizza from a place in Pasadena, it is amazing.

It's got chorizo, jalepenos, sausage, cilantro, red sauce, Mexican cheese, etc. The funny thing is the restaurant attached to a car wash. Car wash / pizza place. It's on Arroyo Parkway but I can't remember the name. They have good normal pizza too.

The OP is pretty ridiculous, obviously. When respected food experts are raving about Los Angeles' food scene, I take their opinions more seriously than some hillbilly troll.

I'll also say that there is a lot of good ethnic barbeque in Los Angeles. And if you look around there are several quality Southern BBQ spots all over the metro.
