The ones I've gotten are actually bigger than the picture above, and you can choose whatever fruit/veggies you want. I'd say like 2/3rds the width of a gallon size bag. And the carts are everywhere. The one I'd go frequently to is on Venice Blvd by the Chase bank, a few blocks west of Broadway Elementary.

I love these fruit vendors! They're all over the place. There are three in my vicinity (San Rafael area of Pasadena); on California Blvd. + Pasadena Ave. (across from Huntington Hospital), on Woodbury + Lincoln (across from Super King) and on York and Avenue 64 (next to Rite Aid).
