My son is in high school and I might be relocating due to a job in Cedar-senai hospital. I am looking for a good high school in a decent neighborhood that is not too expensive and the least traffic possible!! is that even realistic in LA area? What area would have the least traffic?
Thanks!

Cedar Senai is located in a very nice part of Los Angeles. Beverly Hills is just to the west and West Hollywood is close by as well. So rent and housing prices are not cheap in that area.

How much do you plan on spending per month on rent?

Cedars Sinai is in Beverly Grove. Traffic is always going to be an issue around there. Beverly Hills has good public schools and isn't as expensive if you live south of Wilshire. Still, one bedrooms will generally start at 2000 there.

Everyone defines these things differently, so what rent or mortgage payment range are you thinking about, how many minutes or hours are you willing to spend commuting each way, and are you looking for only public schools or are private schools ok too?

Beverly Hills is probably the best choice for short commute with good public schools, but the majority of people would probably consider it expensive.

If you want to live in BH to send your kid to BH high then I hope your job pays at least $80,000.
Beverly hills schools are not what they used to be, but at least they are safe.
