That's why these lawyers take on those sorts of cases. They do a fair bit of work but inflate their expenditures to turn a hefty profit. You know how the government will list expenses like $250 boxes of paper clips so they can hide secret expenses(for the military and what not)? These lawyers do the same thing, but to become rich.

You mean they don't do it from the goodness of their hearts?

It's funny all these attorneys acting like they really care and are such great people.. but only thing they care about is the big paycheck so they can continue the lifestyle where they don't have to be subjected to the bs that goes on in other parts of the city.

I have an idea, if in US prisons is for profit thing and more prisoners there are more profit federal government pays why not make same for homeless shelters or mad houses where the'd put homeless that violent and addicted to hard drugs.

Say they booked them into jail for something then he has to go trough that facility on his way out like instead of anger management and they hold them there until they turn into normal working people.

Everyone will win and there be as many of this places ad weed shops in los angeles.

What do you expect? Ever been to FL? Loaded with homeless people.

If you're going to be homeless which is a horrible situation to be in where would you choose, a climate where you can live outside and not freeze to death or a place where they could find you frozen?

Let's see Chicago and being homeless, or LA being homeless.

You're also very ignorant, not all the homeless are on drugs, some are veterans, some are mentally ill. Some have lost their jobs and have no family willing or able to take them in.

Shame on you.
It's easy to say "Shame on you" when they're not on your doorstep as they often are on mine (literally).

Actually, NYC has gotten worse again.

I think this is the core issue with the increase in homelessness since the late 1970s. Everyone likes to blame the problem on Reagan, but much of what happened was as a result of court order. He's been out of offices for decades and dead for over a decade and nothing has fundamentally changed.

Doesn't work that way. Plus, could you imagine the outcry of people who would be against that? It would never happen because there is too much of a grey area between who is mentally incompetent and who isn't.

The only thing that can work is placing homeless people in housing that has on site mental/drug rehabilitation throught LA county without/minimal restrictons. A huge problem is that homeless don't want to go to shelters because they are dangerous. They also would rather do drugs and stay on the street than receive help.

Of course this costs money so that's where my plan ends.
