Where do people live that work at Disney Imagineering? Considering an opportunity - but curious where most people live if we hope to keep the commute less than 30 minutes. Priority is a highly rated Middle and High School. Our constraint is looking for a 4 bedroom house for less than $900k.

Thank you. I will look at these neighborhoods. Any feedback on the temps in these areas? I always hear about the valley area of SoCal being really hot? What areas are they referring to? Is Glendale considered to be warmer part of LA county?

Glendale and Burbank are usually a couple of degrees cooler than other parts of the valley.

You might look in Burbank too -- but it's kind of hard to find 4 bedrooms.

You could look at Simi. Good schools and you could pretty much get a mansion for $900K. You could be in Glendale in 30 min if you left before 6:30 AM. Just an option.

You can definitely find something decent in Glendale for $900k.

La Canada would be a couple step up from Glendale, but your budget might give you limited choices.

La Canada High serves La Canada and is considered the "Blue Blood" neighborhood, between the two. La Crescenta High (CVHS) serves La Crescenta & Montrose and was a Blue Ribbon school a few years ago. I lived in La Crescenta for several years and it was one of the best areas I've ever lived in.
