Still barely know anybody though. Any tips on meeting people? Please don't say Meetup.com; that **** doesn't work, haha.

It worked for me. I joined up with a car club through meetup and now I have a whole new cool crew of car enthusiasts with which I hang. Sometimes we do shows, other times we do runs through the SM mountains and drive our tires off -- thank God for electronic stability control.
