Come on, don't hold back now.

Is the Hollywood sign still there? Is the weather still the same?

the amount of people hasn't changed much I guess, same with living cost in some places. Other than that I can't really think of any.

Los Angeles still has one of the best live music scenes in the nation, if not the world. The Hollywood Bowl, the Greek, the Wiltern Theater, the Baked Potato and the Echo still going strong.......among many other places.

A few neighborhoods are basically the same (minus housing market and real estate prices) - as in demographically and what they offer. Pacific Palisades, Bel Air, Westwood, Century City, Beverly Hills really haven't changed much since the late 90s (while just about anywhere else upper middle class or wealthier has cahnged a lot). Same could be argued with some of the low income neighborhoods.

Gangs. The gangs are still carrying on wars from the 60's, i.e. Crips vs. Bloods
