Agreed on morning (and evening) traffic heading east. Biking/walking anything other than driving is preferred.

Yeah... I'd say the area described has the worst traffic in LA county. It's actually faster to walk in some instances!

There's a ton of bars in West La/Sawtelle, just not a lot clustered together.

If it weren't for the traffic, it's a perfect neighborhood.

expo line could help. I could see a lot of people biking from the stations. Especially places like Olympic & Bundy.

Believe construction is complete as they're just putting the finishing touches on the nearby parking areas? Hopefully they'll announce soon so we can avoid driving during rush hour!
