LA is a city full of transplants, not of transplants.

It’s white millennial focused, but not well-knowing or adventurous enough to be hipster, especially in the food recommendations. I always get this vibe from Vice writers that they’re about 10 years behind. Even the opening sentence seems outdated: "People love to hate Los Angeles.” Are disclaimer intros that “LA really is a fun place!” really necessary anymore?

They are behind. LA isn't the place to hate anymore. It's actually grown in my opinion, into America's premier world class city along with SF. Yes, even over NYC.

That article was annoying, for the most part.
